About us
Stammtisch El Dorado was established in 1998 for the purpose of fostering German/American friendship, maintaining our German heritage, promoting and understanding of the German traditions and customs, and most importantly, having fun together. Our membership is comprised of Germans, Americans, Dutch, Swiss, and others, and we welcome all nationalities who whish to participate. Our club is located in Placerville, California, just east of Sacrament in the beautiful Sierra Foothills. We would love to have you join us!
Events
We host six events throughout the year, Fasching, Lumpenball, Maifest, Oktoberfest, and Adventsfeier which are traditional German celebrations that take place in winter, spring, and fall, along with the summertime American classic Hot August Nights. Some events are free where members bring potluck food, while others require purchasing advance tickets where the food and entertainment are provided.
